The sisters drew inspiration from the look of Smith-Putnam's first modern wind generator built Rutland, Vermont in 1941 for the criss-cross turbine look of these pieces. Classic looking yet completely modern in their industrial inspiration.
Classic architecture, mythology, a love for animals and spiritual influence inspired these two sisters to create earrings, bracelets, rings, and necklaces made in sterling silver and yellow gold. Born and raised in High Point, North Carolina, sisters Heath and Landon Slane started creating sterling silver jewelry in 1995 with the same quality and detail that had been historically dedicated only to gold and platinum.
