Though she has recovered from the struggle of an eating disorder she faced while growing up, she understands that often we as women often face self-doubt and need a reminder of the beauty that is within each of us. Her jewelry is intended as a daily reminder of her – and your – inner and outer beauty and strength, and her goal is to empower others with these wonderful pieces. Elizabeth uses a star as the company logo called the "Hope Star" a symbol she places on her jewelry to serve as a reminder for women to feel beautiful each and every day. With jewelry in a range of price points, Elizabeth hopes to reach as many people as possible with her "feel beautiful" message. We think this message is very inspiring and we hope you will too. Elizabeth Showers is an ambassador for the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) and The Elisa Project, both of which are eating disorder prevention and recovery organizations. Elizabeth is also involved in other very worthwhile organizations such as TWO x TWO which benefits amfAR and the Dallas Museum of Art, the North Texas Food Bank's Food for Kids program, and The Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
