BAUME & MERCIER WATCHES: Baume Mercier was founded in 1830 by Louis Victor Baume and Pierre-Joseph Celestin Baume. Their philosophy was "Accept only perfection, only manufacture watches of the highest quality". In 1920 the company's name was changed to Baume & Mercier Geneva reflecting the alliance of William Baume, who was the grandson of the founder, and business man Paul Mercier. Today Baume Mercier is one of the most recognized watch brands in the world with signature models such as the Capeland, Riviera, Hampton and Classima to name a few.
