John Hardy Jewelry Bracelet Fit Guide To measure a bracelet when opened and laid flat, you measure from the middle of the pusher opening whole (on the side of the clasp box) to the middle of the pusher (on the opposite end of the bracelet?. If you do this you will have the true measurement of the bracelet when closed on the wrist. If ordering a chain bracelet than the rule-of-thumb is to order a bracelet that is 1/2" size larger than your wrist measurement. For instance, if a bracelet is a size 7 1/2". to properly fit the bracelet your wrist size should be approximately 7" which allows 1/2" of "ease" for the bracelet to fit comfortably on your wrist. Leather bracelets should not be worn too loose, or the clasp will face down. Coil bracelets should also fit snugly on the wrist and may expand slightly overtime. Leather Bracelets, see below:
